The core client population for HHH can be described as homeless or poverty-stricken women with or without children. These women range in age from 18 to 46, and their children range in age from conception to 11 years old. This adult female client population comes from backgrounds that include: substance abuse, credit issues, domestic abuse issues, educational failure, medical issues, probation, and incarceration. These women are typically referred by the local law enforcement agencies, churches, domestic abuse shelters, the judicial court system and social services.
